Local Clubs

Over half of the people running in the average race are unaffiliated, that means they do not belong to a local running club.  Joining a club will help with your running, increase your friendship base and may allow cheaper race entry fees.  We are blessed with a number of running clubs in the area, suitable for all different goals and abilities.

Epsom Allsorts Ladies Running Club -  Aim to encourage women of all ages (women of 16+ and accompanied juniors of 12+) and abilities to take part in running events.  They are a friendly, informal, ladies only club with a membership ranging from 18 to 80 and of all sorts of abilities and ambitions. From tortoises to racing snakes, some members race regularly, others rarely; primarily they run because they enjoy it.  Their website is www.epsomallsorts.org.uk/We now stock Allsorts club colours.

Epsom Oddballs - Aim to run competitively and now holds regular weekly coaching sessions. It is also about fitness, health and feeling good about yourself. It is about having fun and achieving goals in the company of others. It is amazing how so many members have improved their performance over a short period of time simply by running regularly with other people.  Membership is open to any runner, male or female, who meets the above criteria and can cope with being called an 'Oddball'!  Their website is www.epsomoddballs.org/home.phpWe now stock Oddballs club colours.

Dorking and Mole Valley Athletics Club (DMVAC) - Is a friendly club which caters for all ages and abilities, from age 10 to Veteran and covers both athletics and field events. They have a thriving Junior section who compete in a number of Leagues.  Both Juniors and Seniors take part in track events in the summer and cross country in the winter as well as road races.  Their website is www.dmvac.org.uk/

Tadworth Athletic Club - The Club was formed in the early 1980's at the height of the running boom, by a group of local like-minded enthusiasts. They are a medium sized club, and cater for a wide range of standards, from young to old, from slow joggers to fast runners. They state, "most importantly, we are a group of runners who enjoy being out, seeing the country, and staying fit".  Their website is www.tadworth.org.uk/

Epsom and Ewell Harriers - The club is one of the oldest in Surrey and its members currently enjoy success at all age levels (10 years to 70 years).  All are welcome at the club.  It is renown for its family atmosphere and team spirit.  The club is better known for track and field, which athletes of both sexes compete in the Southern and Rosenham leagues.  The club are also serious contenders in the Surrey Cross Country Leagues and Area Cross Country Championships as well as for road running.  Their website is www.eandeharriers.co.uk/
